GladFest 1-Week Filmmaking Frenzy Competition
COMPLETED FILMS MUST BE TURNED IN BETWEEN 12 NOON - 2:00 P.M., TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH, 2009, IN THE LOBBY OF THE CHABOT COLLEGE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
Films will be judged on the basis of how effectively these required elements are woven into a good storyline, in addition to using good filmmaking techniques.
1. REQUIRED FEATURED CHARACTER: Someone who is always dancing.
2. REQUIRED FEATURED OBJECT: A birthday cake with lighted candles.
3. REQUIRED SPOKEN LINE OF DIALOGUE: "We're in the Heart of the Bay. Some the greatest movies ever made were filmed right here."
4. REQUIRED SPECIAL SHOT: Low angle, smooth tracking shot
